Digital Manager - Performance Brands

Join our dynamic team as we lead the way in the world of active, outdoor, and sports brands. We are a leading South African manufacturer and wholesaler of 15 premier brands in the outdoor, active and sporting industry. As the Digital Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our digital strategies, management of our 11 e-commerce stores and ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience for both B2B and B2C audiences.

Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy Leadership:

  • Execute the Digital First Strategy for all brands, aligning with the company's business objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction for the digital presence of each brand, ensuring a consistent and compelling customer experience across all channels.

E-commerce Excellence:

  • Oversee Magento 2.4 e-commerce software development for all brands websites
  • Project manage the continual improvement of our Magento e-commerce platforms, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with brand strategies.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance engagement, traffic, and conversion rates.

Brand Experience and Design:

  • Lead the development of Customer Experience (CX), User Experience (UX), and User Interface (UI) design strategies for each brand.
  • Foster innovative design approaches to elevate the digital presence of our brands.

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage digital marketing efforts across all brands and relevant channels.
  • Collaborate with all brand marketing teams to execute high converting paid, organic, email, and SEO strategies to maximize brand visibility and drive customer acquisition.

Data-Driven Insights:

  • Utilize various Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Google Lookr, etc.) to analyse data and derive actionable insights.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making processes to enhance overall digital performance.
  • Reporting on all aspects of e-commerce performance and digital marketing initiatives

Customer Service and Logistics:

  • Oversee e-commerce customer service operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize the digital customer journey, from purchase to delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital management role, preferably in e-commerce
  • Proven track record of successfully managing omnichannel e-commerce strategies.
  • Extensive experience with Magento 2.4 or other relevant enterprise e-commerce platforms
  • Extensive ERP - Ecommerce integration experience
  • Strong background in digital marketing, including paid, organic, email, and SEO strategies.
  • Extensive experience in the use of Business Intelligence tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI and Google Lookr.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for staying abreast of industry trends.
