We are seeking a skilled Learnership Moderator with prior moderation experience in the Contact Centre Operations skills program (93996).

The successful incumbent would be responsible for verifying and quality assuring the assessments conducted by assessors. This individual will review the assessment process, materials, and outcomes to ensure that they meet and have been graded according to the required unit standards. The moderator will check if the assignments have been fairly marked and assessed and is a true reflection of students' performance. All errors must be corrected to ensure a fair standard of assessment.

To be successful as a moderator, you should possess sound insight into the assessment process. All changes must be noted and discussed with assessors to improve consistency across assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Reviewing the learners' responses to discern whether the assessor had scored accurately and fairly.

· Recalculating marks to ensure that the learners have been awarded an accurate grade for each major section of the work.

· Summing individual marks to confirm the validity of the learners’ final marks.

· Remedying discrepancies and including your initials next to each of these.

· Recording all anomalies and amendments.

· Suggesting suitable alterations to the assignments to the Learnership Manager

· Submitting moderated assignments to respective individuals within required timelines

· Advising Assessors on common marking errors and techniques to avoid these.

· Providing coaching on any gaps identified as a result of moderation.

· Partaking in continuous dialogues to boost the transparency and credibility of our assessment procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

· High school matric/grade 12 · Completion of an accredited moderation qualification -ETDP SETA Moderator

· Must have also completed a Further Education and Training Certificate: Contact Centre Operations (93996)

· Must be currently registered as constituents with the Services SETA for this qualification

· At least 12 months prior experience specifically as a learnership moderator within the BPO environment is essential

· Exceptional communication skills with the ability to impart objective feedback to assessors in a clear and concise manner

· Must be fair and objective
