Duties

  • Collect, collate and analyse demand trends.
  • Perform reconciliations to ensure the validity, accuracy and completeness thereof, ensuring adherence to accounting requirements.
  • Participate in collaborative industry forecasting meetings to identify major forecast deviations to jointly improve forecasting as well as understand and incorporate specific industry insights into the demand plan.
  • Scan the environment and coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances for input into the refinement of the product forecasting model.
  • Develop a supply plan for quantities of currency to be issued by the organisation.
  • Participate in collaborative meetings with cash centres to identify major deviations to the planned product processing plans.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and proficiency in Statistical and Forecasting Fundamentals.
  • Experience in a banking environment would be advantageous.
